A: Allows carefully selected areas of historical and architectural significance in a community to be designated as historic districts. These districts have basic guidelines for major building alterations and new construction within the designated area.

The Historic Zoning Commission meets on the First Tuesday of every month at 5:30 pm in the Second Floor Board Room of Covington City Hall.
